The Hessenkolleg Wetzlar is a school where adults can do their Abitur (similar to A-Level), which is a necessary qualification to attend university, in a second way of education. They all have any kind of work experience before they come to our school. Most of the students are in an age between 19 and 25, but there are older students, too.
About 150 students belong to the Hessenkolleg and they are taught by a staff of 18 teachers. Because the students have to concentrate on school and can’t earn money during that time they get a financial support from the government.
